if you don't know, just shut up
can't stand people who talk the most but know the least. blurting out half-baked takes on things they overheard somewhere and acting like it's fact. if you can't own what you're saying, don't fucking say it.
if i don't know something, i shut up and ask questions. i'm not going to walk into a conversation and declare how things are supposed to be when i have no idea what i'm talking about. there's no shame in not knowing. the shame is in pretending.
and honestly even beyond that — i just don't like people who never stop talking in general. no filter, no self-awareness, just going and going. laughing at their own jokes before they even finish them. read the room.
silence is underrated. more people should try it.
