went to scarborough for lunch with some coworkers. one of them just gave birth so we went out to celebrate — she's on maternity leave now. ended up at minh's. broth was really good, solid spot.

i was late because i had to drop howl off at my parents place first. didn't want to show up empty handed so i stopped by galleria on the way to grab a drink and some snacks for her. that alone was like $20. fucking inflation.

broke my fast off of this which made it feel even better. worth every dollar.

got home, did a bit of work. not sure what tonight looks like — maybe a movie, maybe learn something new. we'll see.

life's been good lately. i don't really get stressed the way i used to. not sure what changed exactly, but i think howl has a lot to do with it. ever since i got him last year things just feel more relaxed. hard to explain but it's there.
