commit streak

been trying to commit at least once a day. missed may 4th but it's all good — not going to beat myself up over one day.

one of my goals this year is to fill up the github contribution graph. all green. it's a small thing but i like having something visual to show consistency. and honestly i enjoy the progress. seeing it build up day by day does something for me.
